  • Update: Runtastic App 8.2.0

    We have released a new Runtastic app version 8.2.0.

    What’s new?

    • Apple Watch: New sport types available for Watch Only mode: Running (Treadmill), Cycling (Ergometer)
    • Group Avatar: As Group Admin, you can now add a photo to your group icon.
    • FIX: Apple Watch activities can no longer be saved more than once so you won’t see duplicate activities in your History anymore!
    • FIX: Users without completed running activities can once again view their statistics in the app.

    Important: Runtastic app version 8.2.0 is only available to install on devices with at least iOS10. Unfortunately,  iOS9 users will not be able to download this app version. However, if the Runtastic app is already installed on your iOS9 device, you can still continue to use the previous version 8.1.1.

  • Runtastic App Update 8.1.0

    • You can now enable “Watch + Phone” mode to use all functions of the Runtastic mobile app together with your Apple Watch again.

  • Update: Apple Watch Second Screen

    Based on your feedback when we released the Standalone app, we have re-introduced the much-missed Second Screen feature for your Apple Watch!

    Features such as Voice Coach, LIVE tracking and the Music Player are once again available to use with your Apple Watch — just select “Watch + Phone” in the Apple Watch settings.

    However, you can still enjoy using the Standalone app by selecting “Watch only”.

    Choose your preferred mode by following the simple steps below:

    • Tap the “Profile” tab
    • Tap the gear icon in the top right corner
    • Select “Apple Watch”

    The following versions are required to use the Watch + Phone mode on the Apple Watch:

    • watchOS 3 or higher
    • at least iOS9

    Note: GPS Location, Motion & Fitness, and Apple Health permissions must first be granted, in order for the app to work on the watch.

    We have released Runtastic Steps for Android and iOS: a new step-tracking app that helps you track your daily habits and walk your way to a healthier you.

    What’s new?

    Now, this isn’t a new app per se, it’s the result of a facelift we gave to our Me app. So if you already have the Me app, make sure you have the most recent update in order to access Runtastic Steps!

    New: Tab Bar

    We have introduced a tab bar to the Runtastic Steps app, so you can use it more smoothly and find your favorite features and functions easily. This will also make tracking your steps or checking your statistics even easier than before!

    New: Activity

    The “Activity” tab is where you can find your daily steps, distance covered, calories burned as well as active minutes for the past seven days at a glance!

    New: Your Statistics

    The Progress tab allows you to view your statistics, such as your “Monthly statistics” or “Sleep sessions”. Plus, there’s a new summarized overview of your “Walking Distance” for the current month and year.

    New: Plans

    We have integrated a 12-week training plan that is tailored to your activity level and helps you walk your way to weight loss! The Walking for Weight Loss plan is dynamic and is available exclusively to Premium Members.

    New: Settings

    Your Settings can now be found through the gear icon in the Profile tab on your tab bar. Here you can connect your Runtastic wearable to the app, edit your Profile details, manage (push) notifications and more.

    New: Tab Bar

    You can now find the most important features right on the main screen, which will make tracking your activities or checking your statistics even easier than before!

    New: Activity Setup Icon

    You can find the Activity Setup icon at the bottom right of the screen. With this handy icon, you can select your activity type, choose a workout, select a route or pick a playlist. You can also determine which values you’d like displayed during your activity.

    New: Settings

    Your Settings can now be found through the “gear icon” in the Profile tab on your tab bar. If you are a Premium Member, a simple tap of the Profile tab will allow you to view your Records too.
