Available Step-Tracking Sources
Apple Health: Using Apple Health as your main step-tracking source is highly recommended! This means that if you are using an Apple Watch or any other smartwatch with Apple Health support, the data tracked with your watch will be synced to the Steps app. Your data from the past 30 days will also get imported.
Motion Sensor: Using this option as your main step-tracking source means that the app will use your device’s motion sensor to collect your steps.
Runtastic Wearable: If you own a Runtastic wearable, such as an Orbit or a Moment, you can connect it to your app to use as a step-tracker.
Manually Add Steps via Apple Health: In case the battery status of your phone is running low, you can manually add your steps via your Apple Health account. Your steps data will automatically be synced to the Steps app.
